SUMMARY:Disaster Preparedness Committee
DESCRIPTION:Fires\, floods\, extreme heat\, and the ever-present threat of earthquakes demand that communities have disaster plans and that individuals are prepared for all hazards.  This committee focuses on the integration of disaster preparedness content into nursing school curriculum\, local health department trainings\, and hospital-based nursing practice.  We have worked with local health departments and unions\, including offering day-long training programs to targeted audiences\, like the Nurses Alliance of Service Employees International Union.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTeam meetings are ongoing and meets every Third Tuesday of Every Month @ 10:00 am PST. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGet Involved Now
